Check your Antifreeze:
Antifreeze, otherwise known as coolant, is the liquid found in your radiator that draws heat away from your engine. Your car contains will typically contain a 50/50 mix of water and antifreeze. Make sure the level is full, you’re using the correct type of coolant for your vehicle and that and the mixture is close to 50/50.
Check your windshield wipers & windshield wiper fluid

However, we do sometimes see snowfall and it is important that your wipers are in top shape to handle the snow, slush, and salt that end up on your windshield. Additionally, you’ll want to make sure your washer fluid is full to deal with all that additional gunk on your windshield.

Believe it or not, temperature drops can lead to decreased pressure in your tires. Check your tire pressure and fill them if they are low. Many highways in British Columbia require you to use snow tires between the months of October and April.
